How we test

Most of it
doesn't make it.

We buy the stuff your feed swears by, use it like you would, and bin whatever doesn't hold up.

The process
  1. 01

    We pay for it.

Same suppliers anyone else would use. No freebies, no paid reviews, no favours.

  2. 02

We use it like you would.

In the car, the kitchen, the shower. Dropped on tiles.

  3. 03

    It gets a verdict.

Kept or culld. There's no 'pretty good for the price' column.

  4. 04

    Keepers stay on probation.

If the returns pile up, it gets culld later. Even if it's selling.

It gets culld if it:

  • Breaks or stops working
  • Doesn't do what the video said
  • Needs an app, a hack or a YouTube tutorial
  • Turns up looking nothing like the photos

KEPT ✓

Earned its spot.

Worked first go. No app, no hack, no 'you're holding it wrong'. Took a week of real life, a few drops on the tiles, and still looked like the ad. It goes on the shelf with the truth attached, flaws and all.

CULLD

Straight in the bin.

Failed one test. That's all it takes. No second chance, no discount, no 'pretty good for the price'. It goes back where it came from: your FYP.
